The band then recorded an ‘underground’ fan-release only album in called ‘Anti Nasty League’. The track 'Set Sail For Death' was used in the (award-winning soundtrack) film 'Pin Cushion'. A collection of remixes is due out later this year.

Trash metal bands like Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax dominated the scene with the impossibly fast riffs, howling vocals, and dark, intense lyrics. The pure aggression and technical prowess of these bands inspired a new set of performers, who began tuning their guitars down and unleashing the unearthly growl of what would become death metal.

May 14,  · News about pop will eat itself. Anti Nasty League - Fan Reviews Thread. It's a damn good post-punk album with a lot of good, solid tracks but not really what I wanted out of a PWEI record. I'd hoped for more of a return to the pre-DDMA sound. What we got is nothing like that - nothing like any other Poppies release before it.
